Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. Red tomatoes- 2 kg
  2. Garam masala- 1 tsp
  3. Cinnamon powder- 1 tsp
  4. Vinegar- 3 tbsp
  5. Onion(chopped)- 1
  6. Ginger(chopped)- 1 tbsp
  7. Minced garlic- 4-5 flakes
  8. Sugar- 1½ cup
  9. Salt- 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Blend onion. ginger and garlic together and make a fine past.
  2. Wash and chopped the tomatoes.
  3. Shift tomatoes in a deep vessel pan with onion paste.
  4. Add all other ingredients and cook till thick.
  5. Strain the sauce and use as required.
  6. Shift in a cool and dry place, use before 2-3 days.
