Thai Basil Chicken

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken(skinless and boneless)- 250 gms
  2. Olive oil- 2 tbsp
  3. Garlic paste- 1 tsp
  4. Green chillies- 2
  5. Palm sugar(jaggery)- 1 tsp
  6. Sweet soy sauce- 1 tsp
  7. Fish sauce- 1 tsp
  8. Thai basil leaves- ΒΌ cup
  9. Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grind the chicken breast, keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and stir for 5 seconds.
  3. Now add the ground chicken into the pan and fry quickly.
  4. Fry chicken until it becomes light brown, then add green chillies.
  5. After a minute add soy sauce, palm sugar, basil leaves and fish sauce.
  6. Cover the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes, after that turn off the flame.
  7. Shift to a serving plate and serve immediately.
