Suji Halwa

Ingredients:

  1. Suji(semolina))- 1 cup
  2. Sugar- 1 cup
  3. Water- 4 cups
  4. Ghee- 3 tbsp
  5. Raisins- 1 tbsp
  6. Fine chopped almond- 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Soak raisins in Water for an hour.
  2. Heat ghee in a sauce pan and fry suji until light brown.
  3. Boil the water and add to suji.
  4. Add sugar and fry until it is thick.
  5. Turn off the flame and garnish with chopped almonds and raisins.
  6. Serve suji halwa hot.
