Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. Olive oil- 4 tbsp
  2. Crushed tomatoes- 2 cups
  3. Tomato paste- 1 cup
  4. Mushroom(chopped)- 3-4
  5. Onions- 2
  6. Ground beef- 1 pound
  7. Chopped green pepper- 2
  8. Red pepper- ½ tsp
  9. Garlic cloves- 1 tsp
  10. Oregano leaf- 1 tsp
  11. Grated cheese- ½ cup
  12. Water- ¼ cup
  13. Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grind onion, garlic and green pepper and make a smooth paste.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large sauce pan and fry mushrooms till golden.
  3. Add ground beef and saute until brown, add onion paste and stir.
  4. After two minutes add salt, red pepper and oregano leaf.
  5. Stir crushed tomato, water and tomato paste, cover the lid.
  6. Simmer for 20 minutes on slow flame and stir occasionally.
  7. Garnish with grated cheese and serve with spaghetti or pasta.
