Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients:
- Olive oil- 4 tbsp
- Crushed tomatoes- 2 cups
- Tomato paste- 1 cup
- Mushroom(chopped)- 3-4
- Onions- 2
- Ground beef- 1 pound
- Chopped green pepper- 2
- Red pepper- ½ tsp
- Garlic cloves- 1 tsp
- Oregano leaf- 1 tsp
- Grated cheese- ½ cup
- Water- ¼ cup
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Grind onion, garlic and green pepper and make a smooth paste.
- Heat olive oil in a large sauce pan and fry mushrooms till golden.
- Add ground beef and saute until brown, add onion paste and stir.
- After two minutes add salt, red pepper and oregano leaf.
- Stir crushed tomato, water and tomato paste, cover the lid.
- Simmer for 20 minutes on slow flame and stir occasionally.
- Garnish with grated cheese and serve with spaghetti or pasta.
