Soy Bean Curd


  1. Soy bean milk- 6 cups
  2. Vinegar- ½ cup
  3. Salt- ½ tsp
  4. Cold water to wash the bean curd


  1. Add 6 cups of soy bean milk in a sauce pan.
  2. Bring the milk to boil and once it boils add vinegar.
  3. Now remove from the heat and you will see curd formation in milk.
  4. Cool the curd and place into cheese cloth or muslin.
  5. Wash the curd with cold water to remove the vinegar effect.
  6. Squeeze the cloth and bind tightly.
  7. Hang the cheese cloth for an hour.
  8. Shift the curd in a bowl and spread salt over it.
  9. Mix well and shift in on a sheet, place in refrigerator to set.
  10. When set, cut into desire size and shape.
