Singhare ki Burfi
Ingredients:
- Ches nut flour(singhare ka atta)- 1 cup
- Desi Ghee- 2 tbsp
- Water- 2 cups
- Sugar- 1 cup
- Khoya/mawa- 100 gms
- Green cardamom powder- 1 tsp
- Chopped almonds and cashew- 2 tbsp
Method:
- Heat ghee in a non stick pan and stir chestnut flour.
- Flame should be slow otherwise flour can change color to dark.
- When the flour become light brown, remove from heat.
- Now fry khoya in a pan until it become soft and remove fat.
- Add flour, chopped almonds-cashew and cardamom powder in khoya, mix well.
- In a sauce pan bring the water to boil, add sugar.
- When syrup stick to the edges, add the syrup to the flour.
- Put some melt ghee in a plate and spread evenly with fingers.
- Pour the flour mixture in this plate and leave it to set.
- After that cut into pieces with the help of sharp knife.
- Singhara burfi is ready to serve.
