Prawn Pakora
Ingredients:
- Prawns(shelled and deveined)- 1 cup
- Gram flour- 1 cup
- Rice flour- 2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Turmeric- 1 tsp
- Garam masala- ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water to need
- Chopped coriander- 1 tbsp
- Mustard oil for deep frying
Method:
- Wash the prawns and cut in to small pieces.
- Add gram flour and rice flour in a mixing bowl.
- Add all the ingredients except oil and water.
- Knead well to make a thick coat-able batter with the help of water.
- Heat oil in a wok(karahi), dip the prawn pieces into batter and fry.
- Deep fry prawns until become crispy and light brown.
- Repeat the same process to the rest of prawns.
- Serve hot with coriander chutney or sauce.
