Prawn Pakora

Ingredients:

  1. Prawns(shelled and deveined)- 1 cup
  2. Gram flour- 1 cup
  3. Rice flour- 2 tbsp
  4. Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
  5. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  6. Turmeric- 1 tsp
  7. Garam masala- ½ tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Water to need
  10. Chopped coriander- 1 tbsp
  11. Mustard oil for deep frying

Method:

  1. Wash the prawns and cut in to small pieces.
  2. Add gram flour and rice flour in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add all the ingredients except oil and water.
  4. Knead well to make a thick coat-able batter with the help of water.
  5. Heat oil in a wok(karahi), dip the prawn pieces into batter and fry.
  6. Deep fry prawns until become crispy and light brown.
  7. Repeat the same process to the rest of prawns.
  8. Serve hot with coriander chutney or sauce.
