Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour- 1½ cup
  2. Granulated white sugar- 80 gms
  3. Unsalted butter- 100 gms
  4. Light brown sugar- 50 gms
  5. Peanut butter- 100 gms
  6. Vanilla essence(optional)- 1 tsp
  7. Egg- 1
  8. Salt- a pinch
  9. Baking soda- ¼ tsp
  10. Chopped peanuts and cashew- ½ cup

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Beat the butter and peanut butter by a hand mixer for few seconds.
  3. Now add white sugar ,brown sugar and baking soda, blend until soft and fluffy.
  4. Beat the salt, egg and vanilla essence into the mixture.
  5. Now add flour to make a dough, you can add chopped peanuts and cashew now.
  6. Mix well and keep aside for an hour.
  7. After an hour make small(1 inch) balls(1 inch) of the dough and arrange on a baking tray.
  8. Make a criss-cross pattern on the cookies by the fork.
  9. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes or until the cookies are crispy.
  10. Shift in a air tight container for long use.
