Paneer Butter Masala
Ingredients
- 400 gm Paneer(cheese)
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 5 tbsp Puree tomato
- 3 Blanched and pureed Onions
- 1½ tsp Garlic ginger paste
- 1½ tsp Turmeric powder
- 1½ tsp Coriander powder
- 3 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 3 tbsp Cashew nut paste
- 1½ Cup Cream(Fresh)
- 1½ tsp Garam masala
- Salt to taste
Method
- First cut paneer(cheese) in small cubes.
- Now fry the small paneer cubes.
- Make them soft by soaking in warm water.
- Now heat the butter, fry onion puree until it turns light brown.
- Now stir above mixture with garlic-ginger paste, fry for a minute.
- Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cashew paste, tomato puree, Kashmiri chilli powder and salt, fry for few minutes again.
- Add the paneer cubes and little water, cook it until the gravy becomes thick.
- In last step garnish with fresh cream.
- Paneer butter masala is ready to serve.
