Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients

  1. 400 gm Paneer(cheese)
  2. 3 tbsp Butter
  3. 5 tbsp Puree tomato
  4. 3 Blanched and pureed Onions
  5. 1½ tsp Garlic ginger paste
  6. 1½ tsp Turmeric powder
  7. 1½ tsp Coriander powder
  8. 3 tbsp Kashmiri chili powder
  9. 3 tbsp Cashew nut paste
  10. 1½ Cup Cream(Fresh)
  11. 1½ tsp Garam masala
  12. Salt to taste

Method

  1. First cut paneer(cheese) in small cubes.
  2. Now fry the small paneer cubes.
  3. Make them soft by soaking in warm water.
  4. Now heat the butter and fry onion puree until it turns light brown.
  5. Now stir above mixture with garlic-ginger paste, fry for a minute.
  6. Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cashew paste, tomato puree, Kashmiri chili powder, and salt and fry for few minutes again.
  7. Add the paneer cubes, little water to above and cook it until the gravy becomes semi-solid.
  8. In last step garnish it with fresh cream.
  9. Now your paneer butter masala is ready to serve.
