Moong Dal

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup moong dal
  2. ½ cup onion (cut into small pieces)
  3. 2-3 flakes garlic
  4. 2-3 green chilies
  5. ½ tsp chilli powder
  6. 1 tsp kasoori methi (optional)
  7. salt – to taste

Method

  1. Cook moong dal with 4 cups of water, Add little salt, & garlic
  2. Heat oil in a pan
  3. Add onions in oil and fry it for few minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes, green chillies, chilli powder, and kassori methi leaves.
  5. After Cooking for few minutes, add the mashed moong dal.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  7. Serve it with roties.
