Milk Cake

Ingredients:

  1. Milk : 1 liter
  2. Tartaric powder : ½ tsp
  3. Lemon : 1
  4. 6-8 saffron threads, soaked in 1 tbsp water
  5. Sugar : 100 grams
  6. Corn Flour : 1 tsp

For Decoration:

  1. Dried fruit
  2. Silver leaf
  3. Cream: 1-2 tbsp
  4. Green cardamom powder : ½ tsp

Method:

  1. Boil the milk.
  2. Take tartaric powder and add it to milk, pinch by pinch with lemon juice until milk starts to curdle.
  3. Make mixture thick by cooking, stir occasionally .
  4. Dissolve corn flour in 2 tbsp milk, add this mixture to the boiling milk.
  5. Simmer it for another 3-4 minutes, add saffron threads.
  6. Spread it in a tray by making a thick layer of one inch, allow to cool.
  7. Decorate it with Cardamom powder, dried fruit, silver leaf, and cream.
  8. Milk cake is ready to serve.
