Milk Cake

Ingredients:

  1. Milk : 900 ml
  2. Tartaric powder : ½ tsp
  3. Lemon : 1
  4. 6-8 saffron threads, soaked in 1 tbsp water
  5. Sugar : 100 grams
  6. Corn Flour : 1 tsp

For Decoration:

  1. Dried fruit
  2. Silver leaf
  3. Cream: 1-2 tbsp
  4. Green cardamom powder : ½ tsp

Method:

  1. Boil the milk.
  2. Take tartaric powder and add it to milk, pinch by pinch with lemon juice until milk starts to curdle.
  3. Make mixture thick by cooking.
  4. Now sprinkle it in corn flour, dissolved in some extra milk.
  5. Simmer it for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Now Stir this in saffron.
  7. Spread it in a tray by making a thick layer of one inch.
  8. Now Cool it.
  9. Decorate it with Cardamom powder, dried fruit, silver leaf, and cream.
