Khuskhus Aloo
Ingredients:
- Desi ghee- 3 tbsp
- Potatoes- 450 gms
- Chopped green chillies- 2-3
- Turmeric- 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
- Roasted khuskhus(poppy seeds)- 3 tbsp
- Water- 3 cups
- Sendha namak to taste
Method:
- Peeled the potatoes and cut into fine cubes.
- Grind khuskhus with the help of little water to make a smooth paste.
- Heat ghee in a pan, fry green chillies, add potato cubes and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add khuskhus paste, fry again for 2 minutes.
- Now add turmeric, salt and chilli powder, mix well.
- Pour the water and cover the lid, cook for 10 minutes on slow flame.
- When the potatoes become soft and whole water is drain, turn off the heat.
