Chilli Potatoes
Ingredients:
- Potatoes- 200 gm
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
- Plain flour- 3½ tbsp
- Some water
- Vegetable oil- 3 tsp
- Chopped green chilies- 5-6
- Crushed garlic cloves- 3-4
- Chili sauce- 1½ tbsp
- Tomato sauce- 2½ tbsp
- Soy sauce- 2 tsp
- Black pepper- ½ tsp
- Chopped coriander leaves- 2½ tbsp
- Sugar- ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Some Onions shreds for garnish
Method:
- Wash the potatoes and boil them, cut the boiled potatoes in to small cubes.
- Take plain flour, salt and some water in a bowl, mix well to make a thick flour paste to coated potatoes pieces.
- After that heat oil in the pan, fry the paste coated potatoes pieces till the pieces change to brown and crispy.
- Heat 2 tsp oil in another pan, add garlic and green chillies, saute for a minute.
- After few seconds add chilli sauce, soy sauce and tomato sauce, saute again.
- Add salt, sugar black pepper and fried potatoes cubes.
- Cook the mixture for 1-2 minutes, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves, remove from the heat.
- Garnish with the onions shreds, serve hot.
