Chana Chaat

Ingredients:

  1. Kabuli chana/Garbanzo beans- 150 gms
  2. Baking soda- a pinch
  3. Chopped tomato- 1
  4. Chopped onion- 1
  5. Fine chopped radish- 1
  6. Fine chopped green chillies- 2-3
  7. Lemon juice- 1 tsp
  8. Chaat masala- 1 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Chopped coriander leaves- 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Soak chana with baking soda all over the night and wash them.
  2. Pressure cook the chana for 15-20 minutes with sufficient salty water.
  3. After cooking drain out the extra water from chana.
  4. Add boiled chana, chopped onion, lemon juice and tomato in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add green chillies, chat masala, salt, radish and coriander.
  6. Chana chaat is ready to serve.
