Carrot Jelly
Ingredients:
- Fresh red carrots- 500 gms
- Fresh milk- 500 ml
- Cinnamon powder- ½ tsp
- Gelatin- 1 tbsp
- Saffron strands- 7-8
- White sugar- 4 tbsp
Method:
- Wash, peel and grate the carrots.
- Now pour the milk in a large sauce pan and bring to boil.
- When milk start to boil add grated carrots in milk.
- Boil the milk for 15-20 minutes or until it start to creamy.
- Add saffron strands, sugar, cinnamon and gelatin.
- Again boil the milk for 5 minutes.
- Strain the milk through a sieve and allow to cool.
- Transfer to the bowls and shift in refrigerator to set well.
