Carrot Jelly

Ingredients:

  1. Fresh red carrots- 500 gms
  2. Fresh milk- 500 ml
  3. Cinnamon powder- ½ tsp
  4. Gelatin- 1 tbsp
  5. Saffron strands- 7-8
  6. White sugar- 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Wash, peel and grate the carrots.
  2. Now pour the milk in a large sauce pan and bring to boil.
  3. When milk start to boil add grated carrots in milk.
  4. Boil the milk for 15-20 minutes or until it start to creamy.
  5. Add saffron strands, sugar, cinnamon and gelatin.
  6. Again boil the milk for 5 minutes.
  7. Strain the milk through a sieve and allow to cool.
  8. Transfer to the bowls and shift in refrigerator to set well.
