Bruschetta

Ingredients:

  1. Italian bread baguette- 1
  2. Olive oil- 2 tbsp
  3. Tomatoes- 4
  4. Minced garlic- 1 tbsp
  5. Chopped red onion- 1
  6. Basil leaves- 4
  7. Dried oregano- 1 tsp
  8. Chopped cilantro(coriander)- 1 cup
  9. Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Cut the baguette into 8 equal slices.
  2. Toast the slices lightly and keep aside.
  3. Divide the tomatoes into half and remove the seeds and pulp carefully.
  4. Now cut the tomatoes into very small pieces.
  5. Mix all other ingredients in a large mixing bowl and add tomatoes.
  6. Place the bowl in refrigerator for an hour and drain the extra liquid.
  7. Now top each slice with this topping.
  8. Bruschetta is ready to serve.
