Bruschetta
Ingredients:
- Italian bread baguette- 1
- Olive oil- 2 tbsp
- Tomatoes- 4
- Minced garlic- 1 tbsp
- Chopped red onion- 1
- Basil leaves- 4
- Dried oregano- 1 tsp
- Chopped cilantro(coriander)- 1 cup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Cut the baguette into 8 equal slices.
- Toast the slices lightly and keep aside.
- Divide the tomatoes into half and remove the seeds and pulp carefully.
- Now cut the tomatoes into very small pieces.
- Mix all other ingredients in a large mixing bowl and add tomatoes.
- Place the bowl in refrigerator for an hour and drain the extra liquid.
- Now top each slice with this topping.
- Bruschetta is ready to serve.
