Aloo Tikki

Ingredients:

  1. Potatoes- 750 gms
  2. Cornflour- 3 tbsp
  3. Minced ginger- 1 tsp
  4. Chopped green chilies- 2-3
  5. Green peas(boiled)- ¾ cup
  6. Amchur powder- ½ tsp
  7. Cumin powder- 1 tsp
  8. Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
  9. Oil for pan frying
  10. Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First of all boil the potatoes, after that peel and mash them.
  2. Mash peas by spoon(you can shift boiled potatoes and peas into refrigerator for 10 minutes).
  3. Now mix all the ingredients well, except oil.
  4. Make 15 equal balls of the mixture and flatten with your palm.
  5. Shift gently to the frying pan and oiling both side with a flat wooden spoon.
  6. Fry tikkies on slow flame till they become crispy and brown.
  7. Serve with meethi chutney and curd.
