Achari Paneer
Ingredients:
- 500 gms- Paneer
- 6 tbsp- Oil
- 4- Onions
- 1 cup- Curd
- 6-7 flakes- Garlic
- 3-4 small pieces- ginger
- 1 tsp- Cumin seeds
- 1½ tsp- Mustard seeds
- 1 pinch- Methi(fenugreek seeds)
- 1 tsp- Kalonji(onion seeds)
- 3 tsp- Saunf(fennel seeds)
- 1½ tsp- Turmeric
- 5-6- Green chillies
- 2 tsp- Amchoor powder
- 2-3- Open green chillies
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Cut paneer into square pieces.
- Grind ginger and garlic roughly.
- Then put kalonji, saunf, methi dana, mustard seeds and cumin seeds into a bowl.
- Heat the oil in pan.
- Then add the mixture of seeds together into the heated oil, stir for few seconds.
- Add chopped green chillies and onions, Fry till onion changes in to golden brown.
- After that add turmeric and the garlic-ginger paste..
- Add paneer cubes, cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add curd gradually and move slightly.
- Finally add 1/2 tsp salt and amchoor powder, cook about 3-4 minutes till the curd dry up.
- Serve hot with butter naan.
